# Work with structured notes

## Create useful structure

Planner notes use blocks instead of one uninterrupted page. Separate ideas, decisions, references, and follow-up items so each part remains easy to scan.

## Connect related work

Other areas of Planner can point back to a note. Use one note as the durable source of context instead of copying the same information into several places.

## Save web material

When you save a clipping from the web, Planner can turn it into a structured note rather than leaving it as a wall of pasted text.
